In 2010 I took a spring holiday to Corsica to do some walking, starting in the charming town of Corte in the centre. After a few worthwhile day walks in the area, over the next few days I walked out to the west coast of the island, via the Tavignano gorge, the Nuolo, Calacuccia to the small town of Porto.
On my return, I decided to blog the routes I’d walked and my experiences, in the hope they’d be useful for others. This blog (at hikingcorte) was never fully completed. While some time has elapsed, I’m posting it here again for posterity in the hope that it will be of some (perhaps historical) interest.
